Eric is a 19 year veteran with the San Bernardino City USD Police Department. Eric, now the District’s Safety & Emergency Manager, oversees emergency preparedness, response and operations. Born and raised in San Bernardino, Eric began in public safety at 14 years old as an Explorer with the San Bernardino City Fire Department and is an Emergency Medical Technician. Eric was a First Responder and played a critical role in command post operations for both the December 2nd terrorist’s attacks as well as the North Park elementary school shooting.
Eric is a Terrorism Liaison Officer, and an instructor in various facets including, Critical Incident Management, Active Shooter Response, First Aid, CPR and Stop the Bleed through the Department of Homeland Security. He prides himself on bridging gaps and building relationships with other agencies to keep schools and the community safe.
