Beth M. Schweitzer, M.P.H., L.P.N., M.C.H.E.S.
Health Commissioner
Beth Schweitzer is from Tiffin, Ohio, and has served as the Seneca County Health Commissioner since May of 2014. Prior to that she worked for 22 years in many different facets of public health including as Community Health Director, accreditation coordinator, and the Public Information Officer at the Williams County Health Department located in Montpelier Ohio. Her working career began in the field of nursing, then she received a bachelor’s degree in communications from the Defiance College in Defiance Ohio, and finally a Masters of Public Health in May of 2010 from the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University. She is also a Master Certified Health Education Specialist.
