Disturbed by all the shootings recently, Chris and CEO & Co-Founder Lisa Falzonewent on to start Athena Security, which focuses on proactively preventing crimesbefore they happen.
As seen on the news recently at Archbishop Wood High School,Athena has launched the World’sFirst AI Smart Camera and Gun Detection Alarm Systemdesigned to significantly lower crime (shootings, muggings, fighting, stabbings).
Athena’s smart camera technology uses human-computer vision to see and understandthreats or aggressive actions.
•When a mugger pulls out a knife, when a kidnapper tries to force a child into a car, or when a gunman tries to take a life – Athena can see the threat before it becomes a crime. Other security camerasonly document crimes after they happen.
• Once a crime is detected, business owners or police can be alerted to talk to suspects and tell them that authorities are on the way. (This can also be done through a canned message)
• When seconds matter most, this technology helps police/first responders get to crime scenes faster, as there would be no need to call, and gives them reliable data &videofeeds of where the suspects are and what they look like in real-time.
