David Corr is a Marine Corps veteran and former firefighter bringing 15+ years of responder experience to the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC) School Safety Support Program. The School Safety Support Program brings new light to school safety by making educators think outside the box, completing vulnerability assessments, working with schools and responders on active shooter response and preparedness, and by overseeing the School Mapping Program and Easy Alert Communication App for the State of Washington. School Mapping Program and Easy Alert are tools to be used to prepare, plan, and recover during an emergency. Easy Alert is a free app that coordinates with the School Mapping Program to give school staff and responders real-time data and information during any incident, from bullying to active shooter.
