Since 2011 John has been providing independent expert advice and support across the technology and commercial aspects of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, to both private and public sector organisations.
John and his associates at Nova Modus currently deliver expertise across six UK projects investigating the testing and adoption of “driverless cars”, and other connected and automated vehicles.
John assembled the consortia, helped to develop the project scope, and authored five successful bids winning more than £13M UK funding to match almost £9M industry investment.

John is graduate in physics and worked in semiconductor electronics and high frequency wireless for almost 20 years, leading a couple of start-up companies, and including a short secondment in Silicon Valley.
