Brandon Schulte is a Vehicle Cybersecurity Engineer & Researcher at Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. Focused on proactively addressing automotive cybersecurity risk, his goal is to push the industry toward incorporating defense-in-depth methodologies and approaches throughout the development lifecycle. Security should never be an afterthought.
As an undergraduate, Brandon worked as an independent contractor to protect one of the ‘Big Three’ automotive companies. He held the following titles: web application security pen tester, security operation center engineer/analyst lead, endpoint security lead, and incident response lead. He holds a BS from Ferris State University in Information Security and Intelligence and will be pursuing a Masters in Cybersecurity Management in 2020.
