Mr. Gracia is the Dean of Campus Safety Operations at Lincoln Memorial University. Mr. Gracia is also a full time Tennessee Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) certified law enforcement trainer. Mr. Gracia has served in law enforcement for 27 years ranging from Patrol Officer at the Kingsport Police Department, Special Agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Director of the East Tennessee Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy, and Specialized Law Enforcement Training Coordinator. Mr. Gracia is recognized as a Use of Force Expert in the Federal, Tennessee and Virginia court systems. Mr. Gracia holds numerous certifications from the following agencies: TN State P.O.S.T., Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, National Tactical Officers Association, Royce Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Department of Homeland Security, International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training, Blackwater Training Center, U.S. Department of Justice, and Force Science Institute.
Mr. Gracia is a finalist for the Campus Safety Director of the Year Award hosted by the Campus Safety Magazine. Under Mr. Gracia’s guidance Lincoln Memorial University has received the ranking as the 15th safest campus in the country, out of over 4,700 college campuses.
